Education

SOME disabled children go to special schools that are adapted to their needs. At other schools, you would expect that the person who is in a wheelchair is meant to be somewhere else. As I said SOME disabled children go to other schools. My needs aren't that severe so I went to the Deanes and now at College on my second year. A girl at the Deanes asked me why I was at that school and not at a special school. Do my needs affect the type and place of education? I went to a special nursery for sure. However that was because my sister was there. I think it's unfair that people decide that location of learning is determined by looks or needs. When I left the Deanes, I had three C's and in a couple of units in other subjects I had an A and an A*. My appearance doesn't affect my learning nor my needs.

Safety

I fell out of my chair today. This was because that the anti tip bar wasn't there to stop me. People should be safe around wheelchair users and they should take in that not only that they will get hurt. The wheelchair users could be in risk. One time someone pushed my sister down a ramp. Like how a bully pushes another kid. It was near a road. Reason? She accidentally ran over her foot. She may be hurt but my sister was in risk also. So if someone in a wheelchair accidentally runs over you or you see a wheelchair user on their back. You could both be in risk. Avoid the worst. Safety first.

Disabled Space

I don't think it's fair that people who can walk a mile without dying for a seat, taking a disable parking spaces. It is not for people who thinks that they are so special that they take the blue badge space.
